Ryan Hudson is a loving husband to his wife of 16 years, Mallory and father to three beautiful children.Luke (12),Jack(10)and Amera (7). The Hudson’s have resided in Hanover County since 2008. Ryan sees himself as a living example of the American dream, as the first and only member of his family to graduate with a college degree.
His entrepreneurial spirit and unwavering faith, combined with hard work has been the driving force behind his success. Ryan began his life of service to others in the late 90’s as a volunteer EMT for Tuckahoe Volunteer Rescue Squad. “To whom much is given; much is expected, has been a beacon to be a part of the better good guiding Ryan every step of the way. Working as a Registered Nurse in the emergency department at VCU Medical Center for nearly 10 years gives Ryan a unique perspective on public service. Whether serving others through Cool Spring Baptist Church, Hanover Community Services Board, Mechanicsville Rotary,Hanover Chamber of Commerce, Realtor Political Action Committee (RPAC) , ASK Childhood Cancer Foundation, Atlee Station YMCA or advocating and promoting fostering and adoption, lobbying state officials for school choice and numerous other causes that cross his path,
Ryan is a consummate champion for people of all ages, creeds, colors and backgrounds. His common sense, consensus building approach has served him well in the private and public sector and he now wishes to bring those same guiding principles of faith, family and common sense conservatism to the forefront of local public service.
